Diafra Sakho is close to a move to West Brom, which should signal Saido Berahino joining either Stoke or Crystal Palace.
Negotiations between West Ham and West Brom over 26-year-old Sakho have been ongoing since the end of last season and a fee of £16million was agreed over the weekend.
But now the move is a step closer after the Senegal international agreed terms and a deal should be wrapped up shortly.
That just leaves the medical for the player to pass before the move is rubber-stamped and that could happen on Tuesday evening or early on Wednesday morning.
The swoop is expected to herald Berahino’s departure from the Baggies as the striker is being heavily linked with a big-money move to either Stoke City or Crystal Palace this summer.
The Eagles are said to be in the box seat, but reports have today claimed that Stoke are willing to throw in Peter Crouch, Joselu or Mame Diouf in the hope it will swing the deal in their favour.
