Liverpool striker Christian Benteke is being linked with a move to Crystal Palace and would apparently be happy to join them.
Benteke has been targeted by the Eagles as he appears at Anfield after only playing a bit-part role in the second half of last season.
The Belgium international looks to be behind Daniel Sturridge, Divock Origi and Danny Ings in the pecking order at Anfield and appears surplus to requirements under Jurgen Klopp, and the recent signing of Sadio Mane from Southampton could push the former Aston Villa man closer to the exit door.
The 25-year-old, joined the Reds in a £32.5million deal last summer but could be tempted by a move to Selhurst Park as he reluctantly accepts his time at Liverpool looks to be up, but the Reds will not let him leave on the cheap and have slapped a £30m price-tag on his head.
That is a figure Palace may deem to be too high but Benteke is a proven Premier League goalscorer, managing 42 goals over the course of his three seasons with Villa, while he also hit nine for Liverpool despite struggling for a starting role for much of the campaign and there is reported interest elsewhere from the likes of West Ham and Sunderland.
