Barcelona have cooled reports linking them with Arsenal full-back Hector Bellerin following the departure of Dani Alves.
Alves has joined Italian champion Juventus on a two-year-deal and reports have suggested Barca could try and re-sign Bellerin as his replacement.
The Gunners would be very reluctant to cash in on the youngster and would only listen to offers of over £40million before even considering doing a deal.
However Barca sporting director Robert Fernandez has insisted Bellerin is not currently on the radar for the Spanish champions as they feel they already have an adequate replacement for Alves.
“I haven’t raised [Bellerin] at this point,” he said. “He’s a fantastic player who we know because he grew up here but at this time I’m not raising anything in this regard.
“Aleix Vidal was signed [last summer] thinking Alves could go. We trust in him. He was having a fantastic season at Sevilla and we have the emergence of Sergi Roberto. Douglas? I want him to play.”
