Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin continues to be linked with a return to boyhood club Barcelona after an impressive campaign for the Gunners.
The 21-year-old joined Arsenal from the Barca youth set-up when he was just 16 and has gone on to blossom in north London, with the right-back now a key member of Arsene Wenger’s side.
However, reports say the Catalans took notice of Bellerin in the recent 5-1 aggregate victory over the Premier League side in the Champions League and see him as the ideal replacement for Dani Alves at the Nou Camp.
Bellerin has continually claimed he is happy where he is and was quoted earlier in the week as saying his “future lies with Arsenal”.
Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich are also said to be interested in the youngster, who is under contract until 2019, but a move away from the Emirates looks remote as things stand.
