Jason Puncheon says the belief within the Crystal Palace squad is returning and is convinced they will pull away from trouble.
The Eagles still have work to do after the 2-2 draw with West Ham United at the weekend left them hovering just above the relegation places heading into a crucial clash with Norwich.
Moral within the Palace camp is bound to have suffered following an alarming slump down the Premier League table, but Puncheon says the signs are there that the belief is returning.
Palace were on course for another defeat against the Hammers before fighting back to take a point and Puncheon says they can take plenty of heart from the second-half performance.
“That was definitely an important point, especially after the run we have been on,” he revealed. “I thought in the second half we showed the way we can play, taking the game to West Ham. You could see the belief coming back.”
