Patrick Bamford is backing Norwich’s survival bid and has fired a warning to relegation rivals Newcastle and Sunderland.
The Canaries have been in free fall following a run of poor results that has left them in the relegation zone, and are many peoples favourites to be relegated to the Championship.
With Aston Villa bottom of the table, it looks as though two from Norwich, Newcastle and Sunderland will join them in the second tier of English football next season.
The Canaries were handed a boost as Newcastle lost at Leicester last night but Bamford says they are just staying focused on the job they have to do and is not worrying about anyone else.
“If people write us off then there is no pressure on us, and that can help,” Bamford said. “As long as everyone in and around the city and the club believes in us and has that self-belief, then I think we will be fine.
“It doesnÂ’t matter what people in Newcastle or Sunderland say. TheyÂ’re a million miles away.
“You can see by the effort everyone is putting in that no one has given up yet. There are a lot of games and points to play for. So it’s definitely not over and anyone who thinks that is a fool.”
