David De Gea will reportedly snub any summer interest from Real Madrid and stay with Manchester United for the Jose Mourinho-era.
The 25-year-old Spain international goalkeeper, who is currently starring with his country at Euro 2016, almost moved to the Santiago Bernabeu 12 months ago only for an administration error to scupper the switch.
De Gea was again expected to be a big-money 40 million euros target for Los Blancos in this current transfer window, but it seems the player is now not as keen to depart Old Trafford while the Spanish outfit have also gone cold with their interest.
Spanish football expert Guillem Balague has claimed that De Gea is happy with the club’s managerial change which sees Mourinho replace Louis van Gaal at the helm and is looking forward to the future with the Premier League giants.
“I think De Gea now is a clear situation,” Balague told Sky Sports.
“Real Madrid have decided not to go with him.
“He’s happy, he wants to stay with Manchester United and see what Jose Mourinho brings to him.”
