Watford are said to be among three clubs interested in Saido Berahino but the Baggies say they have yet to receive any bids.
Reports on Friday claimed the Hornets had made a big offer – thought to be around £15million – for the former England Under-21 star, while Leicester were also credited with an interest as they seek possible replacements for Jamie Vardy, should he decide to join Arsenal.
Berahino remains unsettled at the Hawthorns and nearly joined Spurs last summer but the Baggies held firm, while offers from Newcastle and Stoke were also turned down flatly in January.
However, Watford are now said to have made their move, even though Albion say they have yet to receive any official bids for the frontman, who fell out of favour under boss Tony Pulis in the first half of last season after he angled for a move to White Hart Lane.
It is thought Pulis would be open to allowing Berahino to finally get his way and move on – for the right price – and a move to Watford, who could be looking for a replacement for Troy Deeney if he joins Leicester, could be a possibility this summer.
