West Brom have decided to call off a deal with West Ham for striker Diafra Sakho.
The 26-year-old has been a top target for the Baggies all summer and reports claimed that the two clubs had already agreed on a fee of £15million.
However, Sakho is currently struggling for full fitness and won’t be ready to start the Premier League season, leading West Brom to call off the deal.
Tony Pulis is not prepared to pay out that amount of money for someone he can’t immediately throw in to action and it’s understood they may revisit the deal in January.
West Brom are resigned to the fact that Saido Berahino will eventually move on but are keen to get a replacement in before sanctioning his exit.
