West Bromwich Albion are reportedly interested in West Ham forward Enner Valencia, who could be surplus to requirements pretty soon.
The Ecuador international has been relegated to third-choice striker behind Diafra Sakho and Andy Carroll in Hammers boss Slaven Bilic’s plans, while at least another top forward is set to arrive at the Olympic Stadium this summer to push him further down the pecking order.
Valencia joined West Ham for £12million from Mexican club Pachuca two years ago but he has struggled with injuries and poor form and could be available for just £5million in the upcoming transfer window.
The Baggies may represent a good opportunity for the 26-year-old to revive his career and Albion may decide he is the perfect man to compliment their attack, especially if Saido Berahino finally leaves this summer.
Reports say boss Tony Pulis may even pursue a loan deal for Valencia if he fails with a permanent bid.
