West Brom reportedly rejected a late approach for midfielder James Morrison from Celtic on deadline day.
Morrison, who only signed a new two-year deal in the summer, has played just two minutes of Premier League football this season and is starting to slip down the pecking order.
The Scotland international was rumoured to be interested in a move away from the Hawthorns before the window closed on Wednesday and Celtic were hoping to complete a deal.
However, according to reports, the Baggies hierarchy refused any sort of exit and blocked the 30-year-old from even discussing the possibility of a switch to the Scottish champions.
Morrison is said to be frustrated with the stance of the club and he could push for a January exit if his first-team opportunities continue to be limited in the current campaign.
