Alan Pardew could turn to former Newcastle striker Demba Ba as he looks to bolster his Crystal Palace attack.
The Eagles struggled badly for goals this season and Pardew is keen to add at least one new striker to his ranks over the summer as he looks to address the problem.
Ba currently plays for Chinese Super League side Shanghai Shenhua after signing a lucrative deal last year, but reports claim that Pardew wants to bring him back to England.
The 30-year-old has had spells in the Premier League with Newcastle, Chelsea and West Ham, and proved during that time he has got what it takes to score goals in the division.
It remains to be seen if Ba, who has two years to run on his deal in China, would be willing to sign for Palace, but Pardew knows him well from his time at Newcastle and will hope to convince him.
