Chelsea are reported to be lining up a surprise move for Swansea forward Andre Ayew.
Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has already splashed out a reported £32million to sign Michy Batshuayi this summer, and also has no intention of selling Diego Costa.
However the Italian is still in the market for another forward but does not want to break the bank, and Ayew would appear to fit the bill perfectly.
Chelsea believe they could land Ayew for a fee in the region of £12million, but Swansea will be reluctant to cash in on the Ghana international, who impressed during his first season for the club.
Swansea have already lost Eder and with Bafetimbi Gomis also heading for the exit door, they cannot afford to lose another striker at this stage of pre-season.
Atletico Madrid striker Borja Baston has been mentioned as a potential replacement, but the loss of Ayew would still be a big blow.
