Aubameyang to Arsenal: David Ornstein provides HUGE update on Chelsea striker situation

The two parties have finally reached an agreement for the Gabon international and he is expected to join the Gunners before Wednesday’s transfer deadline for a fee of £55.5m.

As well as a disagreement over the fee, the move was delayed over Dortmund’s insistence that they find a replacement before selling Aubameyang.

And BBC journalist David Ornstein has taken to Twitter to explain the situation.

Dortmund’s first choice striker was Arsenal’s Olivier Giroud, who was keen for the move until Chelsea showed an interest in the Frenchman.
