Chelsea winger Christian Atsu is a January transfer target for Italian side Torino, reports have claimed.
Atsu has struggled to make an impact since arriving at Stamford Bridge in 2013 and has spent most of his time out on loan at the likes of Everton, Bournemouth and Malaga.
The 24-year-old is currently with Championship outfit Newcastle United, but has yet to start for the Magpies, making just four substitute appearances.
Newcastle have taken him on loan for the entire season and do have the option to turn it into a permanent deal if he impresses.
However it has now been suggested the deal could be cut short in January, which would then allow the Ghanaian to complete a permanent move to Torino, where he could link up with Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart.
Much will depend on whether Atsu can force his way into the Newcastle side, but Chelsea will be happy to move him on no matter the destination.
