Manchester United have reportedly been offered Atletico Madrid’s Ghana international midfielder Bernard Mensah by agent Jorge Mendes.
The 21-year-old starlet has spent the majority of his career with Portuguese outfit Vitoria de Guimaraes, where he worked his way through the youth ranks.
However Spanish outfit Atletico Madrid swooped to sign Mensah on a six-year contract in summer 2015, before he was loaned out to La Liga outfit Getafe.
Mensah is currently back with Vitoria de Guimaraes on loan for the 2016-17 season and he has been watched by United scouts on several occasions.
Reports in Portugal are now suggesting that super-agent Mendes, whose clients include United boss Jose Mourinho and Cristiano Ronaldo, has recommended Mensah to the Red Devils and will look to try and pave the way clear to strike a deal with Atletico in the future.
Sevilla and Monaco are also tracking the player, but it is more than likely that he would choose a move to Old Trafford if the opportunity arises.
