Atletico Madrid have won the race for Portuguese wonderkid, and Arsenal, West Ham and Aston Villa target, Diogo Jota.
According to AS, the Spanish capital club have reached an agreement with Primeira Liga club Pacos Ferreira, beating a long list of suitors to his signature.
All three Premier League clubs have reportedly had the 19-year-old scouted, while both Benfica and Barcelona were said to be lining up summer approaches.
But they all appear to have lost out to Atleti, who have convinced the precocious winger to sign a five-year deal with the club with his arrival scheduled for the summer.
Jota has emerged as one of European football’s brightest teen prospects since breaking into the Pacos side last season.
He has so far played 33 times in the Portuguese top flight, scoring 11 goals from midfield.
