Aston Villa have made an offer for Bristol City striker Jonathan Kodjia.
The Ivory Coast international moved to the Championship club last summer after they managed to prise him away from Angers for around £2m.
The 26-year-old enjoyed a brilliant debut season in England and finished the campaign with 20 goals in all competitions.
Derby, Sunderland, Stoke City and Villarreal have since scouted Kodjia after being impressed by his performances.
But, according to France Football, Aston Villa have made their move by making a formal offer for the striker.
The bid is currently undisclosed but it is reported that Bristol City are holding out for around £5m.
