Arsene Wenger opens up on third party ownership following Sam Allardyce sting

The issue has come into the spotlight in the wake of England boss Sam Allarydyce being secretly filmed discussing ways to evade strict FA rules on third-party ownership.

Arsenal boss Wenger said he wanted to see a worldwide ban on third party ownership.

“Third party ownership should not be allowed,” he said. “I fight against it for a long, long time. The clubs should possess 100 per cent all of their players.”
