And on the possibility of empty seats, he added: “Everybody is free to do what he wants with his season ticket. We have to live with that.

Wenger also backed Jack Wilshere to be fit in time for Euro 2016, saying: “If you look at his fitness at the moment, in two months he should be perfectly fit.”
