Arsene Wenger charged with misconduct: Arsenal boss faces stadium ban

The Gunners manager was furious with Mike Dean after the referee awarded the Baggies a late penalty in their 1-1 draw.

Dean gave the spot kick after Kieran Gibbs’ cross clipped Calum Chambers’ arm from close range.

And Arsenal boss Wenger, who was furious after the clash, has been charged by the FA and accused of abusive and/or improper and/or questioned the integrity of the match referee in the officials’ changing room after the game.

Wenger will likely be handed a ban for his comments last weekend.

Starsport understands that Wenger, who was handed a four-game ban last season for a bust-up with Anthony Taylor, could face an extended spell away from the touchline.
