The Arsenal boss delivered his frank assessment as he goes to Manchester City this afternoon knowing that nothing less than a win will do and if they end up finishing fourth they will face qualifying games for next season’s Champions League.
But it is the prospect of another dark horse like Leicester City pipping them at the post again that concerns him most.
He isn’t totally convinced that the Foxes can do the same again, but with their example this season – and around £100million to spend – he is prepared for another lesser light to give them a serious run for their money in the title chase.
