Borussia Dortmund playmaker Henrikh Mkhitaryan has snubbed the chance to extend his contract, amid reported interest from Arsenal.
The 27-year-old bagged 23 goals last season, while he also weighed in with a staggering 32 assists in all competitions.
That from has sparked interest from Arsenal, who have been tracking the attacking midfielder since January.
And now the Gunners have been given a boost in their pursuit as, according to Bild, Mkhitaryan is refusing to sign a new contract at the Westfalenstadion.
The Armenian’s current deal expires in a year’s time and Dortmund are desperate for him to pen an extension.
If Mkhitaryan won’t agree a new contract than the German club may be forced to sell him this summer – or risk losing him on a free next year.
