Arsenal and Bayern Munich have joined Manchester City in the race for Benfica star Alex Grimaldo.
Pep Guardiola flew to Portugal earlier this week to watch the defender in action, ahead of a potential January move.
The 21-year-old has been tipped as one for the future and, after coming through the ranks at Barcelona, is impressing at Benfica.
However, according to Record, Manchester City will have to fight off interest from Arsenal and Bayern Munich if they want to land Grimaldo.
Both clubs are tracking the left-back and they have been impressed by what they have seen so far.
Having only signed Grimaldo this summer, the Portuguese club are reportedly reluctant to sell.
