It’s one thing to watch on quietly as your Premier League title rivals sign superstars, but it’s another to then go and buy their rejects.
This, though, is the situation Arsenal are reportedly in as Arsene Wenger goes about his summer transfer business.
After being turned down by Jamie Vardy, having a bid for Alexandre Lacazette rejected and links with several other top strikers from across the globe, it’s now believed the Gunners could make a move for Manchester City flop Wilfried Bony.
According to the Daily Star, Arsenal could make a £30million offer for the Ivorian who has scored just 10 goals in 46 appearances across all competitions since joining in a £25million move from Swansea.
