Arsene Wenger says either Santi Cazorla or Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could return for Arsenal when Norwich visit on Saturday.
Cazorla has recovered from an Achilles problem and Oxlade-Chamberlain is available after a and knee injury, meaning manager Wenger has a fully-fit squad to choose from for the clash with the Canaries.
However, the Frenchman says he is unlikely to include both in his match-day squad and hinted Cazorla is the more likely candidate to make a return this weekend.
“One could be involved,” he said.
“Santi Cazorla has already practised now for two weeks with the team. Alex is in the first week. So one of the two [might be in the squad].”
Tomas Rosicky is also available following a thigh injury but is not expected to feature.
Provisional squad: Ospina, Cech, Monreal, Gibbs, Gabriel, Chambers, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Bellerin, Santi Cazorla, Rosicky, Ramsey, Elneny, Wilshere, Ozil, Reine-Adelaide, Iwobi, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Sanchez, Campbell, Walcott, Welbeck, Giroud.
