Arsenal 3 Liverpool 3: Honours even in Christmas cracker at the Emirates

There’s something about these two sides meeting which leads to goals galore.

This six-goal thriller made it a staggering 17-10 for Liverpool in their last five Premier League encounters.

But at the end of this pulsating game, both sides failed in their quest to put even a tiny bit of pressure on Manchester City.

They also showed why their respective managers, Arsene Wenger and Jurgen Klopp, are so desperate to make a high-profile centre-back signing.

Still it made for a fantastic spectacle as three Gunners goals in SIX sensational minutes sparked an amazing turnaround.

It was looking like being a Hard Day’s Night for the north Londoners after two of Liverpool’s ‘Fab Four’ – Philippe Coutinho and Mohamed Salah – put them 2-0 up, with a third ‘band’ member, Roberto Firmino, then hitting an equaliser.
