Everton are reportedly moving closer to completing the signing of Stoke City forward Marko Arnautovic.
Everton manager Ronald Koeman is keen to bolster his squad ahead of the new Premier League season and Arnautovic has been identified as a top transfer target.
The Austria international enjoyed his best goalscoring campaign for the Potters last season, bagging 11 strikes from 34 league appearances.
His impressive performances are said to have caught the eye of a number of top European outfits but it is the Toffees, who are hoping to make strides in the market after their recent takeover, leading the race.
Arnautovic is rumoured to have a £12.5million buy-out clause in his contract and the Goodison Park-based club have reportedly activated that option.
A deal is now moving closer and confirmation is expected over the coming days after a medical is completed and personal terms are agreed with the 27-year-old.
