Hull are said to be tracking young Arsenal goalkeeper Damian Emiliano Martinez as they seek cover between the sticks.
The Tigers are without first-choice custodian Allan McGregor due to a serious back injury and are looking to bring in a shot stopper before the transfer window closes to support Eldin Jakupovic, who looks set to get the nod to face Leicester City this weekend.
Reports suggest Hull want to take 23-year-old Martinez on a six-month loan deal until McGregor is back playing, a deal that would appeal to the Gunners as they look for the Argentine to gain some Premier League experience.
Martinez has previously had loan spells at Oxford United, Sheffield Wednesday and Rotherham before spending part of last season with Wolves.
Were he to move to the KCOM Stadium, Martinez would become the second goalkeeper Hull have loan from Arsenal recently after Vito Mannone spent two separate spells on Humberside.
