West Ham’s Michail Antonio has promised Hammers fans that the best is yet to come from him, despite a great few months.
After signing last summer the former Nottingham Forest man had to wait until December to get his bow in the side but never looked back after coming on in the goalless draw with Manchester United at Old Trafford in December.
Since then he has scored nine goals, provided numerous assists and shown his versatility by slotting into defence when needed, with many observers tipping him for a late call up to the England side, sadly that never materialised.
Antonio though is looking to the future though and has told fans he will be even better next season.
He told the club’s website: “I have really enjoyed my first season in the Premier League and to score nine goals has been fantastic.
“I have been able to score a lot of them playing at right back so I could have had even more.
“I have taken things in my stride and hopefully next year I can build on it.”
