Antonio Conte unhappy with Chelsea for not landing Alexis Sanchez and Virgil van Dijk

The Blues boss is on the brink of being axed following Chelsea’s 4-1 defeat at Watford on Monday night.

Former Barcelona boss Luis Enrique is already being lined up to replace Conte at Stamford Bridge, with personal terms already agreed.

Conte has been vocal in his criticism of the Blues board, especially on issues surrounding the club’s transfer business, which the ex-Juventus boss claims he has no say on.

And according to The Times, Conte is furious with Chelsea chiefs for not landing his top targets.

They claim the Blues manager wanted Virgil van Dijk, Alexis Sanchez and Alex Sandro last month.

However, Liverpool beat Chelsea to Van Dijk, with Manchester United swooping for Arsenal talisman Sanchez.
