Antonio Conte and Chelsea could fall victim to the ‘West Brom curse’ just like all these other managers

Chelsea have enjoyed some huge success in their most recent games against West Brom.

The Blues trounced the Baggies 4-0 earlier this season, but in May 2017 a 1-0 win against them secured the Premier League title in manager Antonio Conte’s first season in charge.

That glorious night for Chelsea seems a very distant memory now as the two sides prepare to play each other on 12 February.

Following Chelsea’s 4-1 loss to Watford, the club’s second successive defeat by three goals, pressure is seriously mounting on Conte.

And as you will see, there are a number of Premier League managers who have left their posts after playing West Brom, including two former Chelsea bosses.

So is West Brom the one team an under pressure manager should not face?
