Antonio Conte addresses Chelsea contract talks ahead of crunch clash with West Brom

Conte’s current deal, which has two year left to run, is worth £6.5m a year.

It leaves him trailing in the wake of Pep Guardiola at Manchester City (£15m), Jose Mourinho at Manchester United (£13m), Arsene Wenger at Arsenal (£8m) and even Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool (£7m).

But the Chelsea boss is clearly unwilling to let anything distract him form securing an historic double and he added: “The most important thing is to win.

“If, in the future, we decide to extend the contract, we’ll decide that. I have a contract with Chelsea two more years.
