Andreas Christensen will decide whether to push for Chelsea exit next summer after impressive Bundesliga loan spell
Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen says he will decide his future next summer.
The 20-year-old is currently halfway through a two-year loan at Borussia Monchengladbach and they are keen to sign him permanently.
Chelsea, though, have high hopes for the Denmark international and believe he could break into their own first-team.
And, with a year still to run on his current loan deal, Christensen says he will sort out his future next summer.
“I have not yet decided. I’m not going to do it at the moment,” Christensen told Bild.
“When it comes to me, I decide until next summer. For me, both things are possible (staying or leaving Borussia Monchengladbach).
“I don’t want to be distracted, but fully focus on the difficult tasks with Borussia. Finally, I can’t decide alone. The question is if the clubs can agree a fee.”
