Aston Villa defender Aly Cissokho looks set to become one of the first players to be shipped out of the club as they prepare for life in the Championship.
The Frenchman has reportedly agreed a two-year deal with Besiktas and will join the Turkish side at the end of the season.
According to Ajansspor, Cissokho was also being chased by Trabzonspor but the prospect of Champions League football with Besiktas next season made it an easy choice for 28-year-old.
Cissokho spent the first four months of the season on loan at Porto but returned to Villa Park in November and has made 18 appearances since then.
However, once it became clear they would be relegated from the Premier League, Villa informed Cissokho that he would be put on the transfer list in the summer and the player has moved quickly to resolve his future.
