Chelsea and Manchester City have overtaken Arsenal and Manchester United in the race for Alvaro Morata.
The striker is expected to leave Juventus this summer as Real Madrid look to activate their £23m buy-back clause.
Once Morata returns to the Spanish capital, he will then be sold on for a hefty profit after a number of clubs expressed an interest.
Arsenal are long-term admirers of the Spaniard, while Manchester United have been keeping tabs on the 23-year-old since January.
However, according to AS, Chelsea and Manchester City are now the frontrunners to land Morata this summer.
Arsenal have been sidetracked by their pursuit of Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy, while Manchester United are focused on bringing in Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
That has left Chelsea and Manchester City to fight it out for Morata and a deal could be sorted in a week.
