Celtic scored at least four goals for the third time in their last four games. James Forrest and Scott Sinclair have found the net in each of the Hoops’ first three league outings.

Robert Lewandowski struck a second hat-trick in eight days as Bayern began their Bundesliga defence in imperious form.

Last season’s runners-up have just one point from their first two Liga games after being held to a first goalless draw since March.

PSV captain Luuk de Jong missed a first-half spot kick shortly after Juninho Bacuna’s dismissal as the lowly visitors held on to deny the Dutch champions a fourth consecutive Eredivisie victory.

The Russian champions’ unbeaten start to the Russian Premier League campaign continued thanks to Roman Eremenko’s third goal in his last four appearances.

The Lions laid down an early marker in the Portuguese title race with a comeback victory against rivals Porto, maintaining their perfect start after three games.

Porto dropped points for the first time this season despite taking an early lead through defender Felipe, the loss leaving them fifth in Portugal.

Club Brugge 2-2 Standard Liège (Felipe Gedoz 52, Engels 90+3; Touré 14, Edmilson Junior 85)
Belgium champions Club Brugge avoided a second consecutive league defeat, Björn Engels notching an added-time equaliser to thwart the visitors.

Brøndby 1-1 København (Hjulsager 68; Pavlović 45)
The visitors were held for the second consecutive week but remain level on points with early pacesetters Brøndby at the summit in Denmark.

Lazio 0-1 Juventus (Khedira 66)
Sami Khedira found the net for the second time in two league games – Paulo Dybala with an exquisite assist – to give Juve maximum points.
