West Bromwich Albion are ready to launch a summer move for West Ham forward Enner Valencia.
The Ecuador international appears surplus to requirements under Slaven Bilic at West Ham and is behind Diafra Sakho and Andy Carroll in the manager’s plans, while at least one top striker is set to join in the summer to complicate matters further.
Valencia joined the Hammers for £12million two years ago but he has struggled with injuries and poor form and could be available for just £5million in the upcoming transfer window.
The Baggies may represent a good opportunity for the 26-year-old to revive his career and Albion may decide he is the perfect man to compliment their attack, especially if Saido Berahino finally leaves this summer.
Reports say boss Tony Pulis may even pursue a loan deal for Valencia if he fails with a permanent bid.
