West Brom have been linked with a move for versatile Leeds United defender Liam Cooper but they will face competition to sign him.
Cooper can operate at both left-back and centre-half and reports indicate Albion boss Tony Pulis is weighing up a summer swoop for the 24-year-old.
However, the Baggies will face competition for Cooper as newly-promoted Burnley are also being linked with the Leeds star.
The Clarets are on the hunt for reinforcements in defence as Michael Keane seems set to move on this summer, with Premier League champions Leicester City seemingly closing in on his signature.
Leeds boss Garry Monk is also eager to retain Cooper, who has two years left on his deal at Elland Road, but he will be powerless to prevent an exit should the Championship club accept a bid.
