Palace face Manchester United in the FA Cup final next Saturday.
But Pardew reckons the club are equally desperate for the extra prize Premier League prize money that a win tomorrow could bring.
“I’ve definitely got one eye on the FA Cup final,” he said. “We can make history. I’m very much aware of that.
“But it’s an important game. If we win and jump two places, or if two clubs overtake us, it’s probably the price of a training ground for our academy.
“That’s what we’ve got to put in perspective. So I’m hunting down an academy training ground this weekend and I hope I get it.”
