Arsenal have yet to make an offer for Napoli midfielder Jorginho, according to the player’s agent, who says Real Madrid are also keen.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger will be looking to bolster his midfield in the summer and the Brazilian-born Jorginho is known to have caught the eye with his performances in Serie A this season.
The player’s representative Joao Santos has confirmed that Arsenal are keen on his client but says nothing will happen until the Gunners make a formal bid to Napoli.
Napoli are under no pressure to sell after securing Jorginho on a long-term deal while the player could turn his back on a move in favour staying in Naples.
“Real Madrid and Arsenal know Jorginho, if they came forward with an official offer weÂ’d talk but at the moment all I can say is that Jorginho has a five-year contract with Napoli and wants to play for them in the Champions League next year,” Santos revealed.
