Stoke forward Ibrahim Afelllay has urged his side to bounce back after Saturday’s home defeat to Southampton.
The Potters had managed 10 points from the last 12 available prior to Saturday’s 2-1 reverse at the Britannia Stadium.
However, Afellay is confident Stoke will respond when they travel to Watford next weekend as they continue to push for a place in Europe.
“There’s still eight games left and we’ll fight to the end,” he told Stoke City Player.
“We have to get out of this disappointing moment and from Monday we’ll begin working on getting a positive result next Saturday.
“We could have put ourselves in a very good position yesterday and we’re very disappointed because we deserved better.”
