Arsenal and Chelsea are both being linked with £20million bids for Watford’s in-form striker Odion Ighalo.
Reports on Thursday claim Gunners boss Wenger is interested in the Hornets frontman and is prepared to make a bid in the region of £20m for the Nigeria international in the summer transfer window.
Ighalo has had a superb season so far for Watford, scoring 14 goals in the Premier League, and his performances have attracted the attention of several managers in England and across Europe.
Chelsea have been linked with the former Granada loan star following reports the next Blues boss will be handed a £130million transfer kitty in the summer, with a new striker said to be a priority.
The 26-year-old is under contract at Vicarage Road until 2020 and it is thought anyone wanting to lure him away would have to spend at least £20m to tempt the Hornets into doing a deal.
Spanish giants Atletico Madrid have also been mentioned as possible suitors.
