Hull City are reported to be lining up a £9million bid for Lorient striker Benjamin Moukandjo before the transfer deadline passes.
The Tigers are being linked with a whole host of strikers as they look to add more goals to their ranks for this season’s Premier League campaign, and Moukandjo has emerged as a target.
Hull scouts have been checking out the 27-year-old and will have been impressed by what they saw as he grabbed a brace in Lorient’s opening day 3-2 defeat at Caen.
The Cameroon international has vast experience after picking up 32 caps for his country and there is no shortage of interest in him with West Brom, Sunderland and Swansea also said to be keen.
Moukandjo grabbed 13 goals for Lorient last season and there is a good chance he could be heading to the Premier League before the window closes.
