Everton have joined the race to sign Portugal winger Nani after learning he has a release clause of £6.5m in his Fenerbahce contract.
The former Manchester United wideman is reportedly looking to leave his current Turkish club this summer and is doing a good job of drumming up interest with his performances at Euro 2016, netting twice for the Portuguese during the group stages.
Inter Milan and Valencia are said to have already registered their interest in Nani, with the Spanish outfit having offered Fenerbahce 3.5million euros and Vinicius Araujo for the winger.
Everton are thought to have been monitoring Nani’s situation closely and are now ready to step up their interest in the 29-year-old after being impressed by his form at the European Championships.
Nani’s release clause is also believed to be playing a key role in Everton’s interest as they look to capture a player with Premier League experience for a relatively small sum.
